Why Meditation
Empirical data proves meditation can be good for people.
In fact, it can be great for people!
Meditation can help reduce stress, increase focus, and provide long-term health benefits
It can also help eliminate past concerns and future worries by helping stay in-the-moment.
Staying in the moment is also known as mindfulness.
If you want to help yourself, you might consider giving meditation a try.
If you are not successful or can't seem to meditate?
Some techniques may still be beneficial if you practice them. Try either “Observing Breath” or “Loving Kindness” techniques. They are meant to help you get into a good place without the emptiness goal of some meditation techniques. Observing Breath gives you a point of focus. Loving Kindness provides a personal booster, or what might be called a spiritual uplift. Look on the “Can’t Meditate?” page for more ways to begin the internal search, if meditation is a challenge in the beginning of your efforts!
